Reporting to the Sales and Internal Account Team Manager, the Internal Sales Account Manager plays a key role in driving new business engagement and supporting Global Account Directors across their customer portfolios. This role focuses on managing customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, supporting quotations and tenders, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious, energetic sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is motivated by sustainability and long-term value creation.
- Account Management & Customer Engagement
- Manage relationships across nominated Global Account Director customer portfolios
- Develop and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with high-volume clients
- Handle complaints and resolve issues promptly, ensuring successful outcomes
- Sales Growth & New Business
- Identify, develop, and convert sales opportunities within assigned accounts
- Generate new business through existing and potential customer networks
- Set, track, and report on sales targets aligned with company objectives
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify growth opportunities
- Collaboration & Internal Support
- Support Global Account Directors with customer relationship management, quotations, and new business generation
- Attend customer meetings alongside Global Account Directors when required
- Support RFP and tender documentation where required
- Maintain accurate CRM records and account documentation
- Report on account performance, pipeline activity, and transaction status
- Reviewing sales targets and account performance
- Engaging with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing
- Identifying and progressing new sales opportunities
- Updating CRM systems and responding to customer enquiries
- Participating in sales meetings or training sessions as required
Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive. Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Hands-on sales experience with a customer-centric approach. Understanding of sales performance metrics and pipeline management.
