Job function
Reporting to the Sales and Internal Account Team Manager, the Internal Sales Account Manager plays a key role in driving new business engagement and supporting Global Account Directors across their customer portfolios. This role focuses on managing customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, supporting quotations and tenders, and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Acting as a primary point of contact for customers, you will ensure clear communication, realistic expectations, and timely delivery of solutions.

Specific responsibilities
- Account Management & Customer Engagement
- Manage relationships across nominated Global Account Director customer portfolios
- Act as a key point of contact, handling customers’ day-to-day requirements
- Develop and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with high-volume clients
- Ensure customers have a clear understanding of TXO’s full portfolio and capabilities
- Handle complaints and resolve issues promptly, ensuring successful outcomes
- Sales Growth & New Business
- Drive new business engagement across existing and prospective customers
- Identify, develop, and convert sales opportunities within assigned accounts
- Generate new business through existing and potential customer networks
- Set, track, and report on sales targets aligned with company objectives
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify growth opportunities
- Collaboration & Internal Support
- Support Global Account Directors with customer relationship management, quotations, and new business generation
- Attend customer meetings alongside Global Account Directors when required
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met effectively
- Support RFP and tender documentation where required
- Assist with high-severity requests or issue escalations
- Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate CRM records and account documentation
- Report on account performance, pipeline activity, and transaction status
- Communicate progress on monthly and quarterly initiatives to stakeholders
- Daily Activities
- Reviewing sales targets and account performance
- Engaging with customers via phone, email, and video conferencing
- Identifying and progressing new sales opportunities
- Preparing and negotiating quotations
- Updating CRM systems and responding to customer enquiries
- Coordinating internally to ensure customer satisfaction
- Participating in sales meetings or training sessions as required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or Sales Account Executive
- Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Hands-on sales experience with a customer-centric approach
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and pipeline management
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong business acumen with a problem-solving mindset
