The predicted salary is between 30000 - 30000 € per year.

Reporting to the Head of Projects and Onsite Engineers, the Deinstallation Assistant will support telecommunications site decommissioning activities, including unloading vans, removing telecoms equipment, recovering cabling, dismantling infrastructure, transferring equipment to staging areas, and loading vans or lorries. The role also involves assisting with deliveries and collections to client sites, recycling centres, and warehouses, including rack collections and the transport of equipment and consumables.

The Deinstallation Assistant will help maintain accurate asset records by logging serial numbers, supporting stock takes, preparing items for recycling or transport, and labelling stock, while carrying out any other duties as required.

  • Driving Licence required.
  • Based out of Solihull, West Midlands.
  • You will be working on customer sites in the Midlands and North UK and could be away from home Monday to Thursday. Daily food and accommodation paid.

Main Duties/responsibilities:

  • Site Equipment De-installations
  • Unloading of equipment from site vans
  • Physical de-installation of telecoms equipment
  • Recovery of redundant cable systems
  • De-installation of infrastructure such as unistrut, cable tray and basket
  • Moving equipment to staging area / loading bays
  • Loading equipment onto vans / lorries
  • Assist with Deliveries some of which can be very heavy requiring two people or lifting equipment
  • Ability to work under own initiative, whilst meeting the standards of the company’s documented quality and environmental systems
  • Ability to work away from home Monday to Friday
  • PC skills, especially Word and Excel
  • Car driver
  • Able to be away from home Mon-Thurs on occasions
