Reporting to: Group Head of Sales – Optical & Networking Equipment
Responsible for: Procurement and Management of supply chain product and accessories
The role holder is responsible for management of the TXO Systems group accessories supply chain ensuring optimum purchasing performance. The Supply Chain Manager aims to build long term relationships with suppliers with optimum pricing to support business growth.
Specific responsibilities:
- Optimise and grow the accessories supplier portfolio to drive competition, resilience, and cost reduction.
- Lead the TXO Optic ranking system and onboard suppliers in line with company standards.
- Build strong technical, operational, and commercial relationships within supplier organisations.
- Implement risk, escalation, and contingency plans to protect supply continuity.
- Align stock with forecast demand, managing ordering and returns.
- Conduct structured price reviews and lead annual RFI programmes.
- Oversee daily procurement activity (RFQs, ordering, testing, shipping) and project negotiations.
- Drive supplier performance through KPIs, audits, penalty frameworks, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver clear MI and monthly/quarterly reporting on spend and performance.
- Partner with sales on contract requirements, tenders, and supplier capability alignment.
- Maintain full compliance with robust, auditable procurement processes.
About you:
- Proven experience across supply chain operations, procurement, logistics, or warehouse management.
- Proficient in ERP and supply chain systems, with strong data analysis capability.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, collaborating effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies, forecast demand, and implement solutions that optimise performance and cost.
