Position
Career Development Plan: career development in telecommunications – with training and learning work towards being a Team Lead, Technical Specialist, Site Manager, Project and Operations management. NB: Driving Licence required. Based out of Chepstow, Wales. You will be working on customer sites countrywide and be away from home Monday to Thursday. Daily food and accommodation paid.
Main Duties/responsibilities
- Site Equipment De-installations
- Unloading of equipment from site vans
- Physical de-installation of telecoms equipment
- Recovery of redundant cable systems
- De-installation of infrastructure such as unistrut, cable tray and basket
- Moving equipment to staging area / loading bays
- Assist with Deliveries & Collections
- Delivery of equipment & consumables to work site
- Delivery of equipment to clients' sites
- Collect equipment from clients' sites
- Rack collections
- Delivery of equipment to recycle centres
- Movement of equipment to TXO warehouses
- Detailing Assets
- Record serial numbers of stock items
- Assist with stock takes and inventory counting
- Prepare stock for recycling
- Prepare stock for transport to warehouse
- Labelling stock items
Requirements
- Independent worker but good team player
- Physical strength and ability to safely handle equipment; some of which can be very heavy requiring two people or lifting equipment
- Ability to work under own initiative, whilst meeting the standards of the company's documented quality and environmental systems
- Ability to work away from home Monday to Friday
- PC skills, especially Word and Excel
- Able to be away from home Mon-Thurs on occasions
