We are currently looking for a Contract Storesperson / Warehouse Operative for a key engineering client based out of the company’s depot in Norwich. Fancy 7 days off in a row? working nly 35 hours on aerage per week for a This role is a contract running for up to 12 Weeks with a possible Permanent option, The position has an attractive rate of £18.22 ph PAYE and is working shifts, only 35 hours per week on a roster which includes a turn of 7 days off in a row!! The Days & Nights Shift hours are (Apply online only) & (Apply online only) Role Responsibilities * To carry out Stock count as directed * To ensure goods are correctly booked in on the computer system, correctly packaged and despatched according to specified procedures and standards * Booking goods in/out for despatch or workshop use * Picking parts in accordance with the picking list * Identifying shortages and informing purchasing/production control * Checking paperwork for accuracy * Data entry of stores transactions on computer system * Loading/unloading trucks with incoming/outgoing goods using a forklift truck * Ensure the general tidiness of workplace and quality and health and safety standards are always maintained * To perform other duties as assigned from time to time Essential / Desirable Experience / Qualifications * Counterbalance forklift licence is highly desirable * Experience of computer stock systems and data entry * Ability to work accurately and independently * Previous relevant logistics experience desirable Please note: As required within the rail industry.
