TXM Recruit is currently recruiting for three Multi Skilled Engineers to join a leading food manufacturing business at its facility in Thetford.
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the site's production equipment, providing both reactive and planned maintenance.
You'll be responsible for supporting production targets, and contributing to the site's ongoing engineering strategy.
Salary: £52,275.00 per annum Shift Pattern: Continental Shifts (4 on, 4 off – Days & Nights)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is safe, reliable, and production ready.
- Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns
- Perform both reactive and proactive mechanical and electrical maintenance across the site.
- Complete all maintenance tasks in line with the daily engineering schedule.
- Identify and request replacement parts required for repairs, following up where necessary.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and engineering documentation.

Requirements
We're looking for experienced Multi Skilled Engineers with either a strong electrical or mechanical bias, who are confident working within a fast-paced food manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Recognised engineering qualification.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar high-speed production environment.
