We are currently recruiting for a Stores & Inventory Operative to join a fast-paced logistics and manufacturing operation based in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to become part of a well-structured team supporting production and operational activities.
You will play a key role in ensuring materials and components are received, stored, controlled, and issued accurately and efficiently to support day-to-day production requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, book in, and process goods within agreed timeframes using Sage 200
- Pick and issue materials and components against production and work order requirements
- Maintain accurate stock control using FIFO principles
- Ensure correct storage, traceability, and batch/serial number control
- Carry out cycle counts and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy
- Support internal logistics activities, including movement of goods between sites
- Assist with goods inward and outward processes
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety, including COSHH compliance
- Work collaboratively with production, logistics, and purchasing teams to support operational efficiency
- Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, inventory, or logistics environment
