Join a busy workshop team carrying out the repair, overhaul, and testing of engines, transmissions, and related components to OEM standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strip, inspect, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, axles & transfer cases
  • Test completed units to ensure reliability and performance
  • Identify parts requirements and support ordering process
  • Maintain high quality standards (right first time, on time)
  • Support apprentices and junior team members
  • Ensure HSE compliance and safe working practices
  • Assist with painting, packing, and dispatch where required

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years experience in a mechanical engineering environment
  • Strong experience with diesel engines & transmissions
  • Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Familiar with tooling and workshop equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation
  • Full UK driving licence
