site engineer (Highways)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Site Engineer with highway experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible levelling and surveying construction sites, setting out project locations, and mapping structural boundaries on the ground. * Salary – Up to £37,000 overtime at X1.5 * Location – S2 3GE * Hours – 07:30 – 16:30 * Shift Pattern – Monday to Friday Duties * Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation * Conduct levelling and surveying of construction sites * Accurately set out project locations based on plans, drawings, and building information models * Map structural boundaries on the ground with precision * Utilise levelling techniques to solve onsite challenges * Review completed scheme designs and offer buildability advice as necessary Skills * An organised team player with the ability to communicate well with others * Operational Health and Safety experience or qualifications (desirable) * Engineering qualification minimum of HNC, or equivalent. * Highway construction background * Experience of operating Leica Total Stations (desirable) * Experience in system design and the ability to create detailed schematics. * Driving licence – Must Have This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting, friendly and fast paced team, delivering essential services to enabling to deliver a world class service to their customers.
