TXM Recruit are working with a national building services, engineering and property management company specialising in residential and large-scale infrastructure projects to help onboard a new Data Management Lead.
We are seeking an experienced Data Management Lead to oversee the accuracy, security and organization of our Dataand provide best practices for Storage of Emails and usage.
Ensuring you manage data processes and keep data up to date whist being stored and used efficiently.
Salary- Up to £45,000
Location- Telford Office with very occasional multi-site travel.
5 days in office.
8am to 5pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data management processes across the business.
- Ensure data is accurate, consistent, complete, valid and up to date.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies, procedures and quality standards.
- Oversee data security, access controls and data protection measures.
- Manage data architecture, databases and data storage systems.
- Support the integration of data from multiple systems and sources.
- Maintain consistent and reliable master data across the organisation.
- Manage metadata and improve data accessibility and understanding.
- Oversee the data lifecycle from creation through to retention and deletion.
- Use data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
- Ensure data management processes comply with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Promote best practice across the business and provide guidance to colleagues.
- Lead and manage members of the data team where required.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in data management, data governance or a similar position.
- Strong knowledge of database systems, data quality and data security.
