Looking for a role where your expertise is valued, your impact is visible, and no two shifts are ever the same? If so, TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a high-profile railway client. They are expanding their projects and are looking for multiple Senior Multiskilled Technicians to join their team located in the East Midlands on a contract basis. This role is paying £25 per hour.
Key Accountabilities:
- Servicing, maintenance, repair and overhaul of traction and rolling stock components and plant equipment inspection.
- Ensuring that as part of a team, your own and your team's work targets are met.
- Carry out all work to agreed standards and that all work undertaken is recorded and “signed off” on the prescribed documentation.
- Support and give guidance to all members of the team.
- Fault finding on rolling stock as directed by Team Leader.
Specific Experience:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 standard in a relevant mechanical/electrical (or dual-skilled) engineering or maintenance discipline (e.g. Traction and Rolling Stock) or have completed a recognised apprenticeship.
- Practical experience of mechanical and electrical discipline desired.
- Knowledge of ISO 9002 and ISO 14001, IMS and Safety regulations.
- Competent in Depot Protection System.

- Contract: 6 Months (ongoing)
- Pay Rate: £25 per hour
- Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday - Nights - 35 hours a week
