TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant join a busy commercial maintenance project, on a long term project.

The work include assisting maintenance engineers ascross an MOD site in Royston.

This is a temp-to-perm position, with a permanent position on offer after 12-weeks.

This position is suitable for someone looking for stability and long term career prospects.

Location - Cambridgeshire
Salary – £13.56 per hour PAYE
Hours - 8AM - 4PM, 40 hours per week.

Contract length - 12 week contract, permanent after this, You will initially require a vehicle, where a mileage allowance will be paid.

We do not expect no more than 30-50 miles per day.

Mileage paid 45p per mile after 30 miles.

Upon completion of 12 weeks, you will receive a company vehicle and fuel card
As a Maintenance Operative your duties will be but not limited to

General reactive maintenance on the site
This may include changing light bulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats hanging doors or fixing shelves.

Patch plaster. rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
