We are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor, with M 3 Million in value. This is a permanent position, suitable for someone looking for long-term career prospects.

Core responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor project expenditures continuously, comparing actual costs against budgets to identify variances early.
  • Implement effective cost control measures to optimize resource allocation and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to negotiate contracts and procurement agreements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify quantities, and ensure adherence to financial plans.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on financial status, forecasts, and risk assessments for project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, legal regulations, and industry standards related to cost management.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:30AM-4PM.

Pay: Β£55,000 per annum + package.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years experience as a qualified QS with industry recognised qualifications.
  • Experience using industry specific software and product knowledge.
