Salary: £45,200 plus £2,300 shift allowance

TXM Recruit is working in partnership with one of the UKs most recognisable retailers to recruit experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers for their distribution centre in South Elmsall.

Shift Pattern: Rotating Days & Nights

The Role: You will be responsible for maintaining and improving site performance by carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of automated warehouse systems.

  • Fault finding and diagnostics on PLC-controlled equipment
  • Planned preventative maintenance on conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics and robotic systems
  • Applying strong mechanical and electrical knowledge to day-to-day tasks
  • Working accurately from setup instructions, assembly guides and checklists

Requirements:

  • Completed engineering apprenticeship with ONC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within warehousing, FMCG or a similar environment
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems and automation equipment
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
  • Experience managing engineering spares and inventory
  • Willing and able to work at heights of up to 20 metres (training provided)
