TXM Recruit are looking for a number of Paint Sprayer / Smart Repair Technicians for a rolling stock refurbishment project based in Milton Keynes. Rate: £23/hr (outside IR35) Hours: 45 per week, Monday – Friday Contract Length: Until the end of the year – potential for other opportunities within the business Start date: 28th August Responsibiltiies Carry out a wide range of tasks including paint spraying, surface preparation, repair assessments, application of primers, coatings, graphics, and protective finishes. Complete all required documentation accurately and report any concerns or defects promptly. Follow company procedures at all times, unless otherwise instructed by management. Perform cosmetic repairs to scratches, dents, and scuffs on both internal and external vehicle surfaces. Undertake additional tasks as requested to support departmental and company objectives.Requirements Strong eye for detail and a commitment to producing work of the highest standard. (Essesntial) Skilled in all aspects of vehicle preparation, including sanding, filling, cleaning, masking. (Essesntial) In-depth understanding of paint application methods. (Essesntial) Experience in post-paint inspection and finishing. (Essesntial) Proficient in interior and exterior refinishing, including polishing, prepping, and spraying.
