TXM Recruit are currently seeking skilled Mechanical Shift Engineers to join an established team at a site based in Oldham. In this role, you will be responsible for the rapid response to mechanical faults, as well as maintaining and optimising high-speed print production equipment.
Salary: £45,000 – £48,000 + £2,000 night shift allowance
Working Pattern: 4-on, 4-off (2 days, 2 nights)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a rapid response to mechanical failures.
- Carry out structured maintenance schedules to ensure long-term machine reliability.
- Identify technical bottlenecks and develop SOPs to improve equipment performance.
- Accurately record all tasks and asset history using the CMMS system.
