TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in East Anglia. They are looking for experienced Commercial Gas Engineers to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team, working on a reactive maintenance contract, on an ad-hoc basis. This position is suitable for a self-employed engineer, looking to work with additional subcontractors.
You will be required to carry out PPMs, reactive maintenance, and minor installation work at a portfolio of commercial properties.
MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Commercial mechanical PPMs and reactive property maintenance.
- Carry out repairs and rectification of faults and or minor works as required to return assets to service and or provide a clear understanding as to the requirements to do so via Mobile PDA.
- Carry out installations, asset replacements under minor works as required.
- Review all service and report documentation for accuracy prior to onward issue.
- Ensure all works are completed on time in line with legal statutory requirements and company procedures ensuring key concerns are communicated in a timely fashion.
- Liaise with supervisor as and when required during the co-ordination of planned and reactive activities to ensure smart planning is achieved to reduce downtime and increase productivity.
Pay: £250 - £300 per day (CIS) as required. Ad-hoc work, to be booked in with the subcontractor.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Time served apprenticeship - Commercial and Domestic gas certs.
- Domestic to Commercial Heating (CODNCO1).
- Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1).
- Full UK driving licence.
