We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading engineering and technology environment supporting the delivery of internal infrastructure and facilities-related projects across multiple UK sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded and organised engineer who enjoys managing projects from concept through to completion within a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
The Role
As Project Engineer, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of a variety of engineering and facilities projects covering electrical, mechanical, and civil works. Working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, procurement teams, and operational departments, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing project scopes and technical requirements
- Producing project plans and schedules
- Supporting tender and procurement activities
- Reviewing contractor quotations and technical submissions
- Managing RAMS and contractor documentation
- Monitoring project progress and onsite activities
- Coordinating stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Supporting final handover and project sign-off
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and building regulations
