TXM Recruit are looking for a NDT (MPI) Technician on an initial contract basis to work for an engineering company in Doncaster then move to Burton. The standard rate for this role is £26.06ph Umb/£19.20 PAYE (inside IR35) with overtime enhancements after 37 hrs. The role is expected to be Monday to Friday days predominantly with some Afternoons (paid at a 20% uplift), 37 hours per week with occasional overtime.
This will be a 9/10 month training at Doncaster with Mileage paid for travel to this depot (30p per mile), the role will then move to a new facility being built in Barton under Needwood (Burton upon Trent, DE13 area) where there will be the opportunity to go permanent after a short while.
Position Summary:To carry out Non Destructive Testing (MPI) work on Rolling Stock assets and related components.
Person Profile/Experience:- PCN Level 1 qualified as a minimum
- Any background can be considered as a specific industry area is not necessary
- Good attitude and willing to be flexible
- You must also be able to pass a Medical, Drug & Alcohol screening.
