We’re looking for an experienced Interim Systems Manager to take ownership of core business systems and ERP operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role combining day-to-day system support with involvement in a key ERP transformation programme (Dynamics 365 Business Central). You’ll help keep systems running smoothly while also driving improvements across operations, reporting, and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Managing ERP and business systems across multiple sites
  • Supporting day-to-day system performance and stability
  • Assisting with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central rollout
  • Working with ops, finance, supply chain & commercial teams
  • Supporting integrations, data migration & reporting improvements
  • Managing infrastructure (servers, networks, backups, security)
  • Handling incidents, tickets, troubleshooting & user support
  • Working with external IT providers and vendors
  • Supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Essential:

  • ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central / SI ERP or similar
  • Strong IT infrastructure knowledge (servers, networks, backups, security)
  • SQL / database & reporting experience
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder skills
  • Comfortable working across multi-site operations

Desirable:

  • ERP implementation / migration experience
  • FMCG / food manufacturing background
  • WMS experience
  • Power BI / advanced reporting
  • Experience with digital transformation projects
