TXM Recruit are supporting a leading composites manufacturer in their search for an experienced Composite Trimmer/Fitter. You will be responsible for trimming, fitting, and finishing high-quality composite components across multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Trimming and finishing composite components to a high standard.
- Assembling jigs and working from manuals or engineering drawings.
- Inspecting components for surface defects.
- Maintaining tools and supporting TPM activities.
- Contributing to 5S and LEAN manufacturing improvements.
- Meeting customer delivery deadlines without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Composite Trimmer, Fitter, or Laminator.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong organisational skills and a team-focused approach.
- Confident using manual measuring tools.
- Basic understanding of race car or road car structures.
