Key Responsibilities
- Strip, inspect, repair, and rebuild engines, transmissions, axles & transfer cases
- Test completed units to ensure reliability and performance
- Identify parts requirements and support ordering process
- Maintain high quality standards (right first time, on time)
- Support apprentices and junior team members
- Ensure HSE compliance and safe working practices
- Assist with painting, packing, and dispatch where required
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years experience in a mechanical engineering environment
- Strong experience with diesel engines & transmissions
- Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Familiar with tooling and workshop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organisation
- Full UK driving licence
