We are looking for a Senior Energy Systems Engineer to take technical ownership of grid-connected energy storage systems across the UK & Ireland. This is a hands-on, senior technical role focused on commissioning support, system performance, fault diagnosis, and lifecycle reliability rather than people management. You will work closely with service, operations, and commercial teams, acting as a trusted technical advisor and ensuring energy storage assets are safe, compliant, and performing as intended.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for energy storage and power systems
- Support commissioning, handover, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex electrical and system issues
- Ensure compliance with grid, safety, and regulatory requirements
- Support service partners and internal field engineers
- Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and best practice

- Background in electrical engineering, power systems, or energy technologies
- Experience with grid-connected assets (renewables, power generation, BESS, CHP, EV infrastructure, or similar)
