TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to work for one of the UKs leading facilities companies on a plethora of their commercial contracts. The job will cover general weekly, monthly and quarterly checks, planned and unplanned maintenance duties as well as general fabric checks around the facilities.
Location: North London
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000/yr.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours
Working hours: 8am to 4pm (Door to Door pay)
On Call: 1 in 4 weeks on call.
Extra: Overtime available and training in commercial gas or electrics if wanted.
Your duties will be yet not limited to:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration units.
- Diagnose faults and perform reactive repairs on HVAC equipment at various client sites.
- Install, commission, and test HVAC systems in line with manufacturer guidelines and regulations.
- Service equipment such as AHUs, VRV/VRF systems, split systems, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, and fan coil units.
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations, F-Gas regulations, gas safe and industry standards.
- Complete service reports, risk assessments, and maintenance records accurately using digital or paper systems.
- Respond to emergency callouts and breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Manage van stock, tools, and spare parts efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with clients, site managers, and the helpdesk.
- Identify and report potential issues or opportunities for system improvements or energy efficiency.
- Work independently while coordinating with other engineers and subcontractors when required.
- Always maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Requirements:
- Full UK License - 6 points max.
- F-Gas Cat 1 Qualified.
- Experience in either, Gas/HVAC - HVAC/Electrical or Gas/Electrical.
- 5 years in role.
