TXM Recruit are currently looking for a maintenance operative to work for a rapidly expanding retail maintenance team on a long term cover situation; however, the likelihood is for a permanent role at the end of 3 months.
- Location: 1 x vacancy Swindon, 1 x vacancy Bicester
- Salary: £28,024.11/Yr or £13.47/Hr
- Hours: 6am to 3pm - Monday to Friday (Can be flexed for childcare etc)
- Contract length: 6 - 9 months
- Weekends: 1-in-4 weekend shift (1.25x rate for Sunday)
- Overtime: Overtime is there at 1.5x
- Company Van and Tools & Uniform provided
As a Maintenance Operative your duties will include:
- General reactive maintenance in store from toilets, shop floor and communal areas. This may include changing lightbulbs, replacing taps or toilet seats, hanging doors or fixing shelves, patch plastering, rendering, painting or minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
- PPMs such as Legionella, Fire Alarm Testing, Sprinkler Testing (training provided).
- Building inspections including roof walks and building checks.
- Daily duties to ensure the tablet is updated, which may include reporting issues, H&S notes or sending emails. Technology will be used in the form of a PDA Tablet and Company provided Smartphone.
