TXM Recruit are currently seeking a Junior Engineer with either an Electrical or Mechanical bias to join an established team at a site based in Oldham. In this role, you will be responsible for the rapid response to mechanical and electrical faults, as well as maintaining and optimising high-speed print production equipment.

Salary: 40,000

Working Pattern: 4-on, 4-off

As a Junior Engineer, you will be placed on a training matrix aligned with a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, initially working day shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a rapid response to mechanical and electrical failures.
  • Carry out structured maintenance schedules to ensure long-term machine reliability.
  • Identify technical bottlenecks and develop SOPs to improve equipment performance.
  • Accurately record all tasks and asset history using the CMMS system.
