We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner Setter / Operator to join a growing manufacturing team based in Hinckley. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment producing high-quality aerospace components to customer specifications.

Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, you will play a key role in machining precision components while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Shift Pattern

Rotating fortnightly shifts:

  • Days: 6:00am - 3:45pm
  • Lates: 3:45pm - 1:30am
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC Turning machines efficiently and safely
  • Set tooling and make program edits where required
  • Work from engineering drawings and customer specifications
  • Inspect your own work using standard inspection equipment
  • Carry out basic machine maintenance activities (TPM)
  • Raise PIRs where necessary
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards in line with 5S principles
  • Safely handle components, jigs, and fixtures
  • Work proactively both independently and as part of the manufacturing team
What We're Looking For:
  • Ideally apprentice trained
  • Minimum 5 years CNC Turning experience
  • Experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens control systems
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail
