Overview: We are supporting a leading composites manufacturer in the North Buckinghamshire region who are looking for experienced Composite Laminators to join their day shift team. You will be producing high-quality composite components for motorsport and advanced engineering projects, working to tight tolerances and high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hand-lay carbon fibre laminating using pre-preg materials
- Working from technical drawings, ply books and work instructions
- Preparing moulds, including cleaning, release application and general prep
- Bagging and de-bagging components
- Trimming, bonding and finishing composite parts
- Ensuring components meet quality, dimensional and cosmetic requirements
- Supporting production schedules and working effectively within a team environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a composite laminator (motorsport or high-end composites preferred)
- Strong understanding of pre-preg laminating and cleanroom processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and ply books
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
