An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join a globally recognised aerospace manufacturer supporting the introduction of high-performance aircraft control systems used on commercial aircraft programmes worldwide. This role offers the chance to work within a highly regulated engineering environment, supporting both new and existing product introduction into manufacturing while developing expertise across APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and aerospace quality systems. You will join a collaborative engineering and manufacturing team where quality is central to product safety and performance.
The Role
As a Quality Engineer, you will support quality planning and manufacturing readiness activities across new product introduction (NPI) programmes and existing production lines. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting APQP and PPAP activities across manufacturing programmes
- Assisting with the development of PFMEA, Process Flows and Control Plans
- Investigating non-conformances and supporting root cause analysis activities
- Working closely with Design, Manufacturing and Supplier Quality teams
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across assembly and test processes
- Ensuring compliance with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements
- Participating in internal and customer quality reviews
What We're Looking For:
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering environments, particularly those looking to further develop in aerospace quality engineering. Suitable backgrounds may include:

- NPI / Industrialisation Engineering
Experience required:
- Exposure to APQP / PPAP methodologies
- Understanding of manufacturing and production environments
- Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans and root cause analysis tools
- Strong communication and cross-functional working skills
Desirable:
- Aerospace, automotive or other regulated industry experience
- AS9100, IATF16949 or equivalent quality standards
- 8D / RCCA problem-solving methodologies
- NPI or production support experience
