A leading precision engineering and manufacturing organisation is looking to recruit an experienced CMM Inspector to join their Coventry facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a high-quality, fast-paced environment supporting critical aerospace and precision engineering components.
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:45. Overtime available.
CMM Inspector Responsibilities:
- Programme and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) to inspect precision components.
- Carry out detailed dimensional inspections in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Produce accurate inspection reports and ensure all documentation is maintained to required standards.
- Identify non-conformances and support investigation and resolution activities.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure components meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the inspection process.
CMM Inspector Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CMM Inspector within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong ability to both programme and operate CMM machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
