The Role

We’re recruiting an Estimating Engineer for a growing aerospace manufacturer. You’ll sit within the commercial team, responsible for pricing complex components and assemblies, supporting new business wins, and ensuring accurate, competitive quotations.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare cost estimates from engineering drawings & specs
  • Build BOMs and manufacturing cost breakdowns
  • Create process sheets for production
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers & internal teams
  • Support NPI and project handover into production
  • Analyse margins and identify cost-saving opportunities

What You’ll Need

  • Aerospace / engineering background (fabrication or machining)
  • Strong drawing interpretation & BOM experience
  • Estimating, costing or manufacturing planning experience
  • Good Excel & ERP system knowledge
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
