You'll combine technical leadership with responsibility for people, engineering processes and resource planning, while gaining greater exposure to the commercial and strategic aspects of the business.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Director, you'll lead teams responsible for product design and engineering analysis across technologies including engines, electric motors, hybrid powertrains and electrical systems.
The Role
As Engineering Manager - Design & Analysis, you'll provide leadership across the complete product-development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

- Working with Business Development, customers and senior stakeholders.

You should ideally have

- A background in Design Engineering, Engineering Analysis or Simulation.
- Experience leading, mentoring or coordinating engineers.
- The confidence to make and influence important technical decisions.

Lead Engineer | Principal Engineer | Technical Lead | Design Team Lead | Simulation Team Lead | Design Engineering Manager | Analysis Manager | Chief Engineer
You may not currently hold an Engineering Manager title.
What matters is that you have the technical credibility to lead experienced engineers, some previous responsibility for people or technical delivery, and the ambition to develop your leadership, strategic and commercial capabilities.
This is an opportunity to move beyond leading individual projects and take broader ownership of the people, processes and technical capability behind an important engineering function.
