TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to join our client's operations team, responsible for mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance at a site based in North West London.

Compensation and leave

  • Competitive Salary - Up to £44,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • Enhanced overtime rates for additional earnings
  • Annual bonus (up to 4%) - subject to performance (historically paid out)

Key responsibilities

  • Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) using Ostara
  • Respond promptly to building alarms (via helpdesk or BMS) and escalating where required
  • Manage reactive maintenance tasks via CAFM system and meet SLA targets
  • Liaise closely with Supervisor, technical admin, and service delivery teams.
  • Escort/coordinate subcontractors during maintenance visits.
  • Participate in minor engineering projects and reactive maintenance.
  • Working hours / Shift pattern
  • 6am to 6pm OR 7am to 7pm (to be agreed by the LM)
  • 42 hours per week
  • On call rota

Requirements

  • City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical discipline

Desirable

  • City & Guilds Part 3 or NVQ Level 2
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
