A growing and well-established automation and electrical installation specialist is seeking an Electrical Installation Supervisor to join their delivery team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing electrical installation works on automation projects across the UK. You will play a central part in planning, site coordination, team leadership, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
As Electrical Installation Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising electrical installation activities on live project sites
- Maintaining and updating the Electrical Installation Handbook
- Planning and organising site activities ahead of project kick-off
- Creating job installation packs and supporting project planning
- Ordering, controlling, and coordinating materials and equipment
- Leading site inductions and project kick-off briefings
- Mentoring engineers and setting standards for quality and safety
- Leading daily site huddles and weekly progress meetings
- Managing change requests and resolving technical or delivery issues
- Contributing to RAID registers and project reporting
- Producing weekly progress reports for senior management
- Supporting project close-out and handover activities
- Promoting continuous improvement across processes, systems, and working practices
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience supervising electrical installation projects
- Strong people management and site leadership skills
- Project management and resource planning experience
- Competence using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience producing RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements)
- SSSTS certification (essential or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a site-based environment
