Development Management Team Leader

Conveying Design Team Leader Location: Cumbria Industry: Engineering & Manufacturing Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 About the Role A leading global provider of high-speed machinery solutions is seeking a Conveying Design Team Leader to drive the design, development, and delivery of innovative conveying systems. This role offers the opportunity to manage a team, oversee project timelines, and collaborate with internal departments and external clients to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions. Some international travel may be required (2–3 times per year). Design and visualise product lines using 3D and 2D CAD. Lead and manage the Conveying Design Team, ensuring high-quality outputs. Plan workloads and deadlines in coordination with senior management. Work with sales and systems teams to define project requirements. Ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard, and within budget. Strong proficiency in SolidWorks & SolidWorks PDM. Experience in 3D modelling, technical drawings (ISO standards), and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of Inventor, AutoCAD, and MRP systems (training available). Willingness to learn new software and CAD systems.
