We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Engineering Administrator to join our team in Dartford. This role is essential in supporting the Engineering Management team and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of administrative processes within the engineering function. This is a temporary role for £18.81 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input engineer job sheets in a timely manner
  • Maintain records relating to accident damage and repairs
  • Ensure all rota reports, 24-hour sheets, and Running Repair Records are completed, signed off, and properly filed
  • Raise purchase orders for stationery and other required equipment
  • Maintain and update filing systems, ensuring documentation and checklists are current and compliant
  • Set up and manage administrative systems and processes
  • Provide general administrative support, including:
    • Preparing memos, letters, and correspondence
    • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets and reports
    • Managing filing and document control
    • Handling telephone enquiries professionally
  • Liaise with internal departments such as Personnel, Risk Management, and Finance
  • Provide Storekeeper cover when required
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the business
