Customer Support Technician Electrical Engineering / Service Support Location:Stamford, Lincolnshire

An innovative and well-established engineering business is seeking a Customer Support Technicianto join their service team. This role is ideal for someone with an electrical engineering background, a proactive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional technical support to customers worldwide.
Youll be supporting a range of electromechanical products including load banks and dynamometers, working both remotely and on-site to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the full product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on industrial test equipment
- Perform warranty work and upgrades in line with company and customer expectations
- Generate risk assessments, method statements, service reports, and fault analysis documentation
- Create and maintain troubleshooting guides and service documentation
- Log and track all service activity using SAP B1
- Liaise across engineering, production, and sales to contribute to product improvement
- Support occasional on-site work globally, with flexibility for travel at short notice (typically one week, occasionally longer)
What Were Looking For:
- Minimum ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Experience supporting and repairingindustrial control systems
- Confident reading electrical schematics and circuit diagrams
- Clear communication and technical writing skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently and in a team
- Comfortable with global travel and hands-on work in customer environments
- Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office software
