We are working with a leading global manufacturer of specialist engineering products who are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Support Agent to join their sales support team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in customer service or inside sales, particularly within a technical, B2B, or engineering environment. You will be the key point of contact for major accounts, ensuring their needs are met from order through to delivery and startup, providing accurate updates, resolving queries, and contributing to long-term customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound customer enquiries via email, phone, and chat
  • Enter customer purchase orders, raise invoices, and prepare shipping documentation
  • Maintain accurate customer data in SAP and internal CRM systems
  • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts from order through to commissioning
  • Provide updates on delivery timelines, changes, and service scheduling
  • Coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines and service levels
  • Proactively support continuous improvement initiatives and KPIs
  • Participate in annual customer review meetings and identify upsell opportunities
  • Expedite backorders and process returns

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2-4 years experience in customer service, order processing, or inside sales
