Composite Trimmer Motorsport Contract | Ongoing
Day & Night Shifts Available
£22 £25 per hour (DOE & shift pattern)
The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Composite Trimmer to support ongoing motorsport programmes. This is a contract position with consistent work available on both day and night shifts.
You will be responsible for the precision trimming, fitting and finishing of high-performance composite components, working to extremely tight tolerances in a fast-paced motorsport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Trimming carbon fibre and composite components using hand tools and machinery
- Finishing, fettling and preparing parts to exacting motorsport standards
- Drilling, bonding and fitting composite components where required
- Working from engineering drawings and build instructions
- Carrying out self-inspection to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Supporting production to meet tight deadlines and build schedules
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Composite Trimmer within Motorsport (essential)
- Strong understanding of composite materials and trimming techniques
- Ability to work accurately to engineering drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Comfortable working day or night shifts
- Immediately available or short notice preferred
