We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Commissioning Technician to join our train facility in Newton Aycliffe . In this exciting role the successful candidate will undertake test & commissioning, corrective and preventative maintenance, servicing and repair of rolling stock assets.
You will work on contract with TXM Recruit at Hitachi Rail – Manufacturing Facility, Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.
Standard houry rate £32.13 Umbrella or £23.46 PAYE (Overtime rates are paid at time and half and double time)
Monday to Friday standard 7am – 3pm (other hours and shifts may be required which will be discussed at interview)
Role and Responsibilities:
The Candidate
The ideal candidate must have experience with Rolling Stock Test & Commissioning. Flexibility is an absolute must; this position will entail travel (expensed) and will have a varying shift pattern to meet the project needs. You will be a Team player, who can quickly develop strong working relationships with colleagues, but also self-motivated and able to take ownership and responsibility of your own work. This is a highly pressured environment that would suit someone who is able to stay positive and calm in difficult and stressful situations.
