TXM Recruit are supporting a leading, fast-growing manufacturing organisation in the recruitment of a Commercial Executive (Aftersales) to join their expanding Sales function. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering commercial and aftermarket strategies within a highly innovative and customer-focused business.
The Opportunity
As a Commercial Executive (Aftersales), you will be instrumental in managing and optimising the tender and proposal process, ensuring high-quality, tailored submissions that meet complex customer requirements. Working closely with internal departments and senior stakeholders, you will contribute to the development of value-driven commercial solutions, supporting the continued growth of the organisation’s aftermarket offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clear, structured, and compelling client proposal packs and tender submissions
- Interpret customer requirements and translate them into commercially sound documentation
- Review tender documents and provide concise summaries to internal stakeholders
- Coordinate and integrate input from sales, aftermarket, and technical teams into submissions
- Manage tender submissions via online portals, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with purchasing teams and suppliers to validate pricing, particularly for spare parts
- Interpret contractual requirements and produce simplified reports outlining support commitments
- Support the creation of sales materials, including presentations and proposal documents
- Assist in the development of repair and maintenance package offerings
- Prepare deal sheets for senior leadership approval
- Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
- Maintain tender documentation and bid libraries for future use
- Support UK and international bid teams with aftersales elements of larger tenders
- Assist in producing internal business reports where required
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a commercial, bid, or tendering environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high-quality documentation
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders effectively
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of pricing and contract requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using online systems/portals
