We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer in Turning to join a world-class Production Engineering team. Our client is the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of specialist transmissions for Formula One, Le Mans, IndyCar, NASCAR, and the world’s most prestigious high-performance automotive brands.
You’ll be responsible for developing CNC programs, optimising machining processes, and supporting the manufacture of complex, high-precision components used in cutting-edge engineering applications.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Produce CNC Turning programs using EdgeCAM
- Run machine simulations using Vericut
- Develop manufacturing methods and machining strategies
- Select cutting tools and identify tooling requirements
- Design and support work-holding fixtures
- Review engineering drawings and provide manufacturing feedback
- Support Production Engineering and Design teams
- Attend design reviews and liaise with Production Control
- Drive continuous improvement across machining processes
- Maintain Health and Safety standards
