Location: Bicester
Shifts: Monday - Thursday 10.00 – 7pm/ Friday – 09.00am – 1pm
Salary: £Competitive
Purpose of Post: Responsible for the receiving, receipting, storing, kitting and assigning to commercial vehicles, and delivery to assembly line. Ensuring all parts are handled, supplied, assembled and fitted is in accordance with the customer specification and quality standards. Responsible for undertaking any other duties associated with the post.
Key Tasks:
- Responsible for the compliance with the company’s health and safety policy and procedures ensuring the warehouse & workshop policies are being adhered to.
- Responsible for the safe operation of plant equipment and/or hand tools associated with the manufacture or fitting process.
- Responsible for all aspects of the storage & assembly function within Logistics, including:
- Receiving and inspecting goods into stock
- Handling goods with care
- Putting goods in correct bin locations within store
- Picking and packing goods using appropriate materials
- Providing high level of service to internal customers (mainly production)
- Ensuring on time delivery of kitted material to production areas
- Updating WMS systems with parts issued to works orders
