If so, TXM Recruit are partnered with a major railway client to recruit a Programme Manager to join them based in East Midlands on a 6-month contract basis paying up to £600 per day (outside IR35).
About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Programme Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programmes that are critical to our strategic objectives. This role requires a proven leader who can operate confidently across technical, commercial, and operational domains while driving performance, governance, and value for money.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme Leadership: Own the end-to-end delivery of engineering programmes, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality targets are consistently achieved.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, Project Managers, including engineering teams, suppliers, finance teams, and senior executives.
- Governance & Assurance: Lead programme governance, reporting, and compliance activities, ensuring transparency and robust decision-making.
- Commercial Oversight: Manage contracts, budgets, and commercial negotiations to secure best value.
