We are looking for an experienced Interim Systems Manager to take ownership of core business systems and ERP operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role combining day-to-day system support with involvement in a key ERP transformation programme (Dynamics 365 Business Central). You will help keep systems running smoothly while also driving improvements across operations, reporting, and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Managing ERP and business systems across multiple sites
- Supporting day-to-day system performance and stability
- Assisting with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central rollout
- Working with ops, finance, supply chain & commercial teams
- Supporting integrations, data migration & reporting improvements
- Managing infrastructure (servers, networks, backups, security)
- Handling incidents, tickets, troubleshooting & user support
- Working with external IT providers and vendors
- Supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Essential:
- ERP experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central / SI ERP or similar
- Strong IT infrastructure knowledge (servers, networks, backups, security)
- SQL / database & reporting experience
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder skills
- Comfortable working across multi-site operations
Desirable:
- ERP implementation / migration experience
- FMCG / food manufacturing background
- WMS experience
- Power BI / advanced reporting
- Experience with digital transformation projects
