TXM Recruit are supporting a leading rail engineering organisation in Cardiff with the recruitment of a Project Manager to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a background in engineering, manufacturing, or rolling stock to lead the delivery of heavy maintenance and rolling stock overhaul projects from mobilisation through to completion.

Working closely with customers, operational teams and senior stakeholders, you will take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role As Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle while acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout delivery.

You will oversee planning, reporting, budgets, project governance and stakeholder management, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities Manage rolling stock overhaul and heavy maintenance projects from initiation through to completion.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource plans.

Monitor project performance against cost, quality, delivery and KPI targets.

Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Coordinate project meetings and communicate progress through regular reporting.
