TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation based in Birmingham. They are looking for experienced Commercial Plumbers to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team, working on long-term commercial plumbing installation contracts. The work is all commercial and industrial, with most being plumbing and pipe fitting installation. Sporadic maintenance jobs form time to time. Please note: This position will require working away, across the UK. Mileage allowance, digs, and food allowance will be provided.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Installation of mechanical plumbing and heating components.
  • Some HVAC work.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults within core and other trades related repair requests.
  • To ensure that the quality of work always meets the highest possible standards.
  • Keep the customer up to date with progress and plans.
  • Undertake all work efficiently and cost effectively, minimising non-productive time wherever possible and reporting any difficulties encountered to the Resource Controller and/or Supervisor.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day.

Pay: £220 per day (CIS). Van required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • NVQ level 2-3 in plumbing or equivalent
  • HVAC experience required (preferred)
  • Gas tickets (preferred).
  • Full current driving licence + van
  • No spent or unspent criminal convictions.
