The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector (CMM) to ensure products meet engineering, customer and regulatory requirements through accurate inspection and measurement. The role will support production, NPI and continuous improvement, with responsibility for identifying and managing non-conforming material.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, edit and operate CMM inspection programmes.
- Complete first-off, in-process and final inspections.
- Use CMMs and manual equipment including verniers, micrometers and gauges.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T.
- Produce inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Raise and manage NCRs, supporting containment and investigations.
- Support FAI / AS9102 and product qualification activities.
- Develop measurement solutions using CMMs and articulated arms.
- Support SPC and Control Plan activities.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience programming, editing and operating CMMs.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Experience with manual inspection equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisation.
- Ability to follow quality procedures and inspection standards.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable: PC-DMIS and/or PolyWorks
