The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Material Planner to support production by ensuring materials, components and kits are available when required. You’ll work closely with Manufacturing, Stores, Procurement and Supply Chain, using MRP/ERP systems to manage material requirements, identify risks and prevent production delays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Master Scheduler by reporting schedule status, risks and production constraints.
  • Ensure material availability aligns with production requirements.
  • Raise and release purchase requisitions within agreed SLAs.
  • Coordinate material shipments and returns between sites.
  • Monitor programme requirements and expedite deliveries.
  • Identify shortages and resolve issues to minimise production disruption.
  • Use MRP and ERP data to drive material planning activities.
  • Prioritise material kits in line with production build schedules.
  • Proactively resolve material and supply chain issues.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to drive actions through to completion.
